This operational report presents a comparative analysis of data collected from the first baseline of the ReDSS annual aspirations survey in Somalia. It was conducted in four locations; Baidoa, Dollow, Kismayo, and Mogadishu between June and September 2019. The survey focuses on five specific themes that impact displacement and that reflect the most important dimensions of local (re)integration for internally displaced persons (IDPs). These are displacement patterns, economic development, social integration, perceptions of safety and security, and Housing, land, and property (HLP).
