Cities and towns are on the frontline of receiving and welcoming people who have been displaced. In this issue of Forced Migration Review (FMR 63), policymakers, practitioners, researchers, representatives of cities and international city-focused alliances, and displaced people themselves debate the challenges facing both urban authorities and their partners, and the people who come to live there. The issue also includes two general articles on other topics.

ReDSS contributed an article on a multi-stakeholder approach to urban displacement in Somalia: read the summary here.
